Ingredients

Cake layers

• 1 2/3 cups all purpose flour
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
• 3/4 cup butter, room temperature
• 3 egg whites
• 1 tbsp vanilla extract
• 1/2 cup sour cream
• 1/2 cup milk

Strawberry Pie Filling

• 1/2 cup strawberry puree
• 2 1/2 tbsp water
• 1/4 cup sugar
• 1 tbsp cornstarch

Ice Cream

• 8 oz cream cheese, room temperature
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 2 tbsp milk
• 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
• 1 tsp strawberry extract
• 1/2 cup homemade strawberry pie filling, recipe above
• 8 oz Cool Whip (or homemade whipped cream)
• 2-4 drops red food color
• strawberry slices, for edge

Topping

• 4 oz of Cool Whip
• strawberry slices
